Andrew Podnieks

Andrew Podnieks has written more than 40 books on hockey. In addition, he has covered two Olympics and five World Championships for the IIHF, one World Junior Championship for Hockey Canada, and written extensively with and for the Hockey Hall of Fame. Hockeystars.com

Vancouver member Jason Farris has followed up his recent coffee-table books on goalie Cesare Maniago and broadcaster Jim Robson with a new online hockey venture, www.hockeystars.com .  Hockeystars is free to join and includes tools to help coaches and managers run their teams online. Players benefit too by posting profiles and connecting with their teammates and the rest of the hockey community. Much as Jason's two books were pictoral scrapbooks celebrating the rich hockey history since the 1960s, Hockeystars seeks to provide amateur hockey players everywhere with a means to create and share their own hockey scrapbook and video memories.
