Andrew Podnieks

Jason Farris

Jason Farris has written and published ( www.circanow.com ) three books on hockey, each of which has helped raise funds and awareness for Canuck Place Children’s Hospice. His current book “Hockey Play-by-Play: Canuck Captains with Jim Robson” is a 32-page program-style book that chronicles and celebrates the ten captains that have led the Canucks through their first 40 seasons, from Orland Kurtenbach to Roberto Luongo ( www.canuckcaptains.com ). The book includes candid commentary and insight from legendary Canuck captains like Trevor Linden, Stan Smyl, and Don Lever about their memorable nights wearing the ‘C’ and what it takes to be a captain in the NHL. Jason’s next book is scheduled for release in 2011 and is a collaboration with all of the Stanley Cup finalist General Managers since 1967 expansion ( www.nhlgms.com ).

Hockey Players on the Railway

Hockey and the Railways have a strong connection and have played an important part in uniting Canada.
